In the news today, the FDA's top scientists are rumoured to be developing and testing several or more different types of engines powered by a substance developed from Corstorn Powder. The powder is harvested from the Corstori Plant and is currently used to make both soda and propellant. It is speculated that one of the engines' purpose is to run the nation's water pumps. The House of Lords has yet to comment on the story.

This is a follow-up to a news item published several months ago:

It has been confirmed that many different engine types have been and are currently being developed by the Agrandan government as part of a larger-scale operation known as the Londermere Development. An unknown number of related technologies are also being developed as part of the project, said the chief of operations, The Hon. Dr. Sir Rian Vilness, Lord of Sarisso.

Vilness, a double first cousin of the late Sir Ilgabar Ilgabar, only gave information on one of the related technologies. He said in an interview earlier today with our very own Ellisoff Zudler that a prototype of a self-propelled carriage has been built and is in testing stages.

Mr. Zudler, a big fan of The Mystical Adventures of Tyronius (a series of twenty-three books, which involves various types of self-propelled vehicles, as well as many other things of the sort), asked Dr Vilness if they (the Londermere Development team) had been developing a flying machine as well; he refused to comment.
