Alledon launches surprise attack on Scondovia, Diamond

Alledon has sent 10,000 soldiers from the Karmaz Territory to the Scondovian part of Sirdovia by sea. These soldiers made landfall this morning. They are spreading south quickly, attacking the Sirdovian cities as they go.

Simultaniously, 10,000 soldiers have made landfall at Diamond, attacking it to liberate it from Sirdovian forces. They are working with the governor (who was voted in by Alledonian sympathizers), and they have already seized the capital city.

[OOC: you can't just proclaim that you have taken the capital, especially given that the country is occupied by over 40,000 enemy forces. Also, I think it would be easier for everyone if you draw a map of the territory attacked/captured in Sirdovia.]

Insolent heretical dogs! How dare you desecrate His Holy Lands with your filthy footsteps? You attack without reason or provocation, after His Divine Imperial Federation pledges a ceasefire! Heretic-king, you are an insult, a tasteless mockery of a human being! We shall beat your "armies" back, and they shall be put to the flame!

[To everyone]
Whatever the grievances that Alledon had with Sirdovia, they were not at all presented to the Sirdovian government. Instead of alerting the Sirdovian government to any issues that the Republic of Alledon had, and then solving said issues using diplomacy (possibly at the upcoming peace talks), Alledon decides to simply declare war on our Federation. As no demands or conditions of surrender have been made, we can only assume that Alledon means to completely obliterate Sirdovia, without mercy or quarter, without provokation, and without reason.

30,000 men march east from Diamond, toward the Great Central Passage, where they will be ferried across to Sirdovia. Sirdovian citizens of military age (18-60 years) are called upon to rise against the blasphemous invaders in a glorious People's Crusade. Participation in the People's Crusade is mandatory, and all eligible who refuse are subject to an Inquisitorial Tribunal and execution as heretics. This will give the People's Crusade a force of 80,000, plus reserve forces of 4000, variously armed. In all, 114,000 Sirdovians will rise to defend the Holy Land. 300,000 credits will be spent to fund arming and training of the People's Crusade in the defense of the Holy Land.
10,850 men remain to defend newly-sanctified Diamond from the invaders.
30 ships of the Sirdovian navy move to a defensive position along the southern Sirdovian coast to prevent Alledonian reinforcements landing and molesting our Holy Land.


[To Braddia]
The Divine Imperial Federation of Sirdovia calls upon the Kingdom of Braddia, as its closest ally, to lend military assistance to Sirdovian troops defending Diamond.

[To everyone]
This completely unprovoked attack upon a nation dedicated to ending the Great Realm War cannot stand. Sirdovia calls upon the international community for a universal condemnation of the Alledonian invasion, and a boycott on trade with this treacherous nation. No more blood had to be spilt in this war, yet Alledon insists upon pillaging underdefended cities, slaughtering civilians, and burning thousands of homes to the ground. No nation can, in good conscience, condone this. Action must be taken immediately to halt this savage act of barbarity.

[To Alledon]
The Divine Church of the Crimson Hand offers this first and final opportunity to the Alledonian armies in Sirdovia and Diamond to confess and repent their sins, lay down their arms and embrace the love of Our Glorious Lord, the Red Messiah of Humanity. If the Alledonian forces follow these instructions, no military action against Alledon shall be taken.

This attack is with one purpose: the liberation of Diamond.

Ah! Finally a battle worth fighting! My forces are ready to aid the Alledonians, our army will be mobilized at dawn!

To Braddia, you are either with us or against us. We know that you harbor Saurians in Braddia, and i think it would offend them greatly if any harm were to be allowed upon them by the Crusaders.

So to "liberate" Diamond, you kill Scondovian civilians! Madness! If your cause was truly to help Diamond, surely you would send your troops there, instead of Sirdovia. You are using Diamond as an excuse to wage war upon Sirdovia, and claim Diamond as your own. Sirdovia was committed to the rebuilding of destroyed land and the peaceful development of Diamond, but now you declare war on Sirdovia and Diamond, leading only to further destruction and bloodshed. This conflict is needless.
If this effort at "liberation" is aimed at protecting Saurians, then this invasion is utter folly. First and most obviously, there are no Saurians in Sirdovia proper, and second, generous surrender terms, guaranteeing the safety of Saurians from Sirdovian persecution, were agreed to by the governer at the time.

The Kingdom of Braddia is Sirdovia's greatest ally. We respect their borders and their sovereignty over their citizens. What Braddia does with Saurians in it own territory is not the business of Sirdovia. Sirdovia has no interest in meddling in the affairs of Braddia.

I would also like to remind everyone that there is absolutely no need for any violence to occur. Military action in Abagozen had ceased completely, and no nation's security was under any threat whatsoever, save for Diamond, which still has armies hostile to the new, legitimate government just outside its borders. It is clear to any rational observer that Alledon, and now the PRA, are the aggressors, and have violated Sirdovia's borders and security without provocation. Sirdovia has not threatened Alledon or the PRA before this attack occurred and Scondovian cities were ransacked.

Again, I urge Alledon to order its troops in Sirdovian territory to lay down their arms, before this situation escalates and rivers of the blood of both Sirdovians and Alledonians are needlessly shed.

Warlord Krag-Zot and the Chiid War Council have recently announced their intention to support Sirdovia. The Klar'Zen War Host will be remobilized and sent to Alledon.

All Alledonian sympathizers will be slewed.

Alledonian forces lay down their arms, as they were depending upon Chiid's Neutrality.

Chiid forces will not attack as long as Alledon agrees to not attack Sirdovian, Braddian or Chiid territory.

The 30,000 troops from Abagozen have landed on the eastern shores of Scondovia, and approach Alledonian positions.
Alledonian forces in Scondovia and Diamond are to be arrested by the Golden Army of the Red Messiah, and escorted to the Sirdovian capital of Red Throne.

Alledon is in no position to make requests, especially of Sirdovia, after this cowardly attack upon Scondovian civilians. Diplomacy should have been attempted first, but instead Alledon opted for bloodshed.
Alledon is lucky that the Golden Army of the Red Messiah is not ordered simply to execute the invading forces. By His Divine Mercy, the Alledonian forces are spared their lives.
That said, assuming peace talks are still to be held, Alledon may call for a discussion of Diamond independence, for Sirdovia's consideration.

But we will undertake one last operation for the Alledonians, we are sending the peoples army to war against Sirdovia. You have cowardly imprisoned the men of a surrendering nation like the crusading dogs you are! You will be fodder for my warriors, meat to be fed to the Tyrannosaurs.

With this the Braddians offer the full peace treaty with assagoneese with the conditions of:

1. Braddia and Asagon will live in peace.
2. Assagon will not attack Braddian Allies.

Braddia sends its 15.000 troops and the 15.000 troops of the Chiid given to aid Braddia to the Daimond and Sirdovia to puch the cowards out of the lands.

Braddia has ordered 5.000 man to help with the disaster in the North region of Braddia and has left 10.000 man to deffend Braddia.

Braddia's King has officialy announced the Full annexation of Braddian Abagozen to form one strong nation. Both religions are now allowed.

Asagon shall not accept, we will fight for Diamond until you prove yourselves worthy of our muskets. Although we have heard about your disaster in the northern sector, and we will pledge money and two thousand men to assist you in controlling the disaster. You are not my enemy any more, Sirdovia is.

None of your citizens died, only soldiers, military stationed in that area. We specifically instructed our soldiers to take only occupation, and only take lives if others threatened to take yours.

The Alledonian soldiers were trespassing in His Holy Lands in a military action whose aim was to invade Scondovia. A force of 10,000 men equipped with rifles and cannons and trained in their use is a dangerous element, regardless of whether or nhot the claim to have surrendered. The very least we should do is arrest them. If Sirdovian troops landed in the PRA and then surrendered, I doubt that you would not detain them.

I urge you not to overreact to an understandable action and threaten military action against us.

The Alledonian soldiers' weapons are confiscated, the the troops are arrested and escorted by 10,000 troops of the Golden Army of the Red Messiah toward the capital (the red mark on the map above). The remaining 20,000 march back to the eastern shore to return to Abagozen.
The Alledonian soldiers are to be detained until the peace talks.
The People's Crusade is partially demobilised. The people are instructed to go back to work, but keep their weapons with them. The government encourages a "calm but alert" attitude.

then we will not interfene on the Daimond question we will protect the Sirdovian mainland against Alledon.

Chiid will remain with Braddia and help defend the Sirdovian mainland.
