Eldar invade Lone Orc Port

The united troops of Chiid and Braddia stand ready at the new fortifications of Lone Orc.

Upon the sea, rest thousands of Eldar ships. Each powered by groups of Warlocks.

Chiid cannons are ordered to open fire on the ships in range.

A few are damaged but none fall.

Can you provide a map, or describe where the port is?

This is the map of Eldar fleet movements. The Blue splotch is Lone Orc port. The line going through the mainland is the supposed movement of their troopers into Sirdovia.

I'll address this in the Palurin Confederacy post I'm writing.

25.000 Elite Line Infantry (Braddians have dismouted as that seems a better fighting style) stand ready on the orders of the Chiid commanders.

Braddian Artillery is being shipped as fast as possible but willt ake a while.

The Braddian Battle navy is to dammaged to fight and wont assist.

Oh s**t they are coming right for Gray beach! All hands on deck men! We will fend off the Eldar!

The Artillery has managed to dent the Eldar forces. 3 ships of an estimated 100 crew each have been destroyed.

Chiid and Braddian Riflemen stand ready at the beach bunkers. Bolt Actions at the ready. Lanceman are hidden in leaf holes.

The Palurin Confederacy offers to have 15,000 men sent to the fort. They are armed with bolt-action rifles and have cavalry support.

We all bear a better chance of survival when we are united, but unfortunately this is something our petty neighbours do not seem to understand in any context.
My forces can arrive 24 hours. Let us destroy these intruders to our lands, and beat their armies back into oblivion.

If any nation has a brave enough vessel, it may be possible to launch a small, fast squadron of ships from Alledon and sneak by the Eldar fleet to gather intelligence on the island. If we are lucky, the Eldar will have used most of their forces in the invasion, and the island will be relatively undefended. If we can sneak a small team of marines onto the island, they can pass through the force fields shielding the waygate.

There, the team can plant a qual-issh explosive. With any luck, the bomb will be powerful enough to destroy the waygate, and the Eldar invaders would be stranded without support.

From there, it would simply be a matter of eliminating the remaining Eldar, who would likely be demoralised and starving.

The plan is sound. We will accept any reinforcements but cannot provide a fast enough vessel. All of our ships are large steam ships used to carry artillery.

Alledonian forces sight eldar ships on the horizon. The battle has begun!

Eldar Perspective:

The Eldar flagship took the head of the fleet. Upon the bow stood the Eldar Farseer, Drulis Windcaller. As she stared upon the defenses set up at Lone Orc, she could not help but feel pity.
These peons believe they stand a chance, dont they know? No one can stand against the Eldar.

Once their puny gods protected them, but they are no more. The Eldar will swoop down upon this carrion land and purify it from its lesser beings grasp.
Another shock of pity struck her.
This is all wrong, why do we kill those that only crime is to live, that only crime is to live under our anceint enemies.

A shock rang through her bones, she fell to the floor writhing in agony. A voice sounded in her head, uttering one simple word: Obey!

Braddian Armed Battle Trolls have been moved in to deffend, they are highly trained in orcish and Common speech, they are ordered to listen to the Chiid leaders. there are 100 of them.

Our nation maintains only a rudimentary naval fleet, as most naval forces remained loyal to the Congregation. However, we do have a handful of smaller ships, and a platoon of 30 National Guardsmen under lieutenant Calstone is willing to take one of the ships. They shall depart from south of New Dravin, and travel down the Chiidian Gulf, through the Horizon Sea and past Castletown Bay.
The men are able to depart immediately, and weather permitting, the ship should reach the island in four or five days [About 1.5 days real time].

You have permission to make a short stop in Reader Harbor, a port in Reader, a suburb of Castletown. It is on the southern area of Alledon that you pass by.

Braddian commanders order the Armoured Battle trolls to engagde in battle the 100 trolls armed with large maces attack.

Eldar troops have pushed and taken the beach front. Allied troops pull back to the 1st stockade and resume bombarding Eldar positions with Artillery.

500 estimated Eldar forces have been killed.
1000 Allied forces have been killed or MIA.

Asagon will offer an alliance with Chiid, to drive our enemy from the Realm, and give freedom to the non-human races of our World!

++COMMUNIQUE TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY REGARDING THE ELDAR WAYGATE OPERATION++

Brothers, compatriots, fellow defenders of the Realm,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the failure of the mission to destroy the Eldar waygate.

Just after dawn this morning, the ship that carried thirty brave men on their heroic mission arrived back at New Dravin, carrying Lieutenant Ridbeck.

The other National Guardsmen were also aboard the ship. Their bodies were found impaled on various pieces of the ship. Many had been hanged off the mast.

Ridbeck was found in the main hold, among several bodies of his shipmates. When he was recovered, it was found that his mental state had deteriorated severely. When approached, the once-proud lieutenant rambled about "terrors beyond the void", a horrific ambush, and an "endless armada". Doctors quickly concluded that he would never recover.

At sundown this evening, Lieutenant Amthor Ridbeck, MV, was put out of his misery in a military execution. He was awarded the Medal of Valour for his courage, determination, and sense of duty toward the nation in setting out to destroy the waygate. Lieutenant Ridbeck departed as a hero, and he shall forever be remembered that way in the eyes of the Confederacy.

This nation shall continue its campaign against the invaders, and will continue to support those who stand against the Eldar menace.
